In industrial processes considerable cooling is needed to condense gases, Control process temperature and protect equipment. Water is used as the primary coolant in all industrial application
Increasing water and energy consumption with decreasing availability of both, forces industries to maximize utilization by recycling water.
Natural water always occurs as a dilute Solution of minerals. In a  recirculating cooling water system. water is cooled in a cooling tower and recycled again and again through cooling equipment, thus becoming more concentrated in its mineral content giving rise to the following problems.
  1. Scale formation in heat transfer areas.
  2. Fouling by accumulation of suspended solids and corrosion products.
  3. Corrosion of cooling equipment
  4. Growth  of micro - organisms.
Cooling water treatment with chemical formulation  to combat these problems is of prime importance for guaranteed  trouble free operation of the cooling systems.

With the development of Polymeric blend Organo phosphonates  emerges a new area in water base systems.

The advantage of using SCALATOR-333
  1.  SCALATOR -333 has a much higher thermal stability because of the C -P Bond.
  2.  Application of Scalator-333 is independent of pH value, there by offering a wide range of pH flexibility in water base systems. Acid injections can be avoided or reduced SCALATOR-333 has an outstanding hydrolytic stability as compared to pyrophosphates at different range of temperature and pH. So they can be used over wide ranges or temperature and pH. Hydrolytic stability of SCALATOR-333  as compared to pyro phosphates is shown in the above graph.
  3. Unlike polyphosphates which are nutrients for microorganisms SCALATOR-333 does not encourage the growth of micro-organisms.
  4. SCALATOR-333 has a synergistic effect with corrosion inhibition.
    Ecologically objected chromates can be totally eliminated or reduced to
    extremely low levels. SCALATOR-333 is a nontoxic volatile and
    nonflammable compound.
  5.  SCALATOR-333 is an extremely powerful sequestering agent and effective
    at threshold levels due to high sequestering property, SCALATOR-333 can
    sequester iron very effectively and can disperse twice the concentration
    of suspended iron than equal weight of other sequestering agents.
  6. SCALATOR-333 is compatible with most of the chemicals used in water base systems and fully effective in the presence of chlorine as well as chromate and other oxidizing, nonoxidizing, biocides and dispersants.
  7. Inspite of contamination with oil or hydrocardons as can be found in refineries and chemical plants, SCALATOR-333 stabilizes hardness effectively.
  8. Threshold Effect - Ability to from complex with metal ions at substochiometric levels.
  9. Defloculation - Ability to disperse solid material in a liquid medium prevents fouling as shown in the following graph.

Water Treatment - Boiling and Cooling Systems

Water is treated depending upon its characteristics. It may be corrosive or scale forming or both. Depending upon the nature of water, design  of water systems and operating parameters, We can give suitable formulations based on Polymeric blend Organo Phosphates to control scaling, fouling and corrosion.  water is used all industries. The presence of metal ions  like Ca, Mg, Mn, Cu, and Fe Etc. in water causes serious problems to the industries as they act as catalyst for undesirable reactions or impart objectionable colour to the and products. They also may promote under deposits corrosion. It is extremely costly and impractical to remove trese metal ions from water, hence comes the use of sequestering agents in water treatment.

Sequestration is the suppression of metal ion without the removal of ion/from the system.

Biocide for Sugar Production
Bacterial generation in warm sugarcane juice is a natural phenomenon. Enzyme inveratase which is mainly responsible for the loss of sucrose in sugarcane juice. Also bacteria like Leuconostoc, Aerobactor etc. & yeast like Saccharomyces are responsible for the loss of sucrose in sugarcane juice which ultimately leads to loss of sugar. Not only that, many micro organism which proliferate in the mill gutter pipelines; weight tanks; crushers; causes sugar loss.

To overcome this inversion activity (sugar loss)  "Bactoqueet" is found successful chemical compound in so many sugar industries.

Synergism of quats compound with other suitable antimicrobial agent have immerged, our range of products namely  'Bactaqeet' as the satisfactory & successful Group of Biocide.

Application Points mills gutters; tanks wherever sugarcane juice is travelling & storage. Method of application:

  1. Either it can be sprayed at interval in its original concentration wherever is required.
  2. Or it can be sprayed regularly with suitable dilution at the application points.

Reduction in purity drop from primary juice to mix juice observed by sugar factories is found 0.2 to 1 unit. Economical viability records, obtained from several sugar factories may be furnished on request

COLODIL-09 is a completely homogeneous mixture of number of ingredients which impart a property of corrosion inhibitor. Addition of  a very little quantity of our above protect at the same time it will accelerate the rate of cleaning also.
Field of application: Scale formation and corrosion is a major problem for every Heat transfer  equipments, water cooling systems and Boilers tubes. Our colodil -09 prevents corrosion during the course of cleaning with acid (Hydrochloric) of higher concentration at severe Boiling conditions.

Application: COLODIL-09 is recommended to add in 0.5 to 1.1 % quantity to the acidic bath depending upon the concentration of acid used.


  1. Heavy metal loss, due to severs acidic cleaning operation can be minimised to negligible loss.
  2. No Blistering or damages is observed.
  3. Brighter -matalic surface with rupid cleaning is observed.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: These may be inloaded manually or pumped  directly into the dilution thak from the container. prepare stock solution ( 1.00 to 1.50 w/v ) of the polyelectrolyte using filtered water. Prepared feed solution by diluting the stock solution about ten times directly or by online  using filtered water. For small systems chemicals can be dosed by gravity or by dosing equipment. However for large systems for optimum efficiency use of dosing system is recommended.

IA-108 is a phosphate based compound  formulated for internal treatment of Boiler feedwater especially in sugar industries.

IA-108 is a free flowing white powder.

completely soluble in water.

Application :
IA-108 has been specially formulated for internal treatment of boiler feedwater in sugar industry. Boilers working up to a pressure of 600 PSI and using 90 -95 % (100% with full crushing ) returned steam Condensate/ Vapor condensates from evaporators, juice heaters and pans as boiler feed.

IA-108 should be used along with  IA-081 (Catalyzed Oxygen Scavenger ) where protection against corrosion due to Oxygen in boilers and boiler feed system is required.

Product Benefits :

  1. Reduces the insulating hardness scale deposists and corrosion in boiler.
  2. maintains steady levels of pH, Caustic alkalinity and phosphates in boiler blowdown water.
  3. Conditions sludge to prevent deposition and facilities its easy removal by normal blowdown procedures.
Caustic Alkalinity 200-300 PPm.

Blow Down:  It is essential to blowdown the boiler every shift to ensure complete removal of sludge from the entire system and also prevent TDS from exceeding the prescribed limits.       

        4.     Reduces boiler carryover due to foaming.
        5.     Minimizes boiler maintenance, down time and cleaning costs.

Dosage and Feeding:
IA -108 treatment is determined by the type of boiler, quality of boiler feedwater and other relevant factors. It is used ad a dilute solution (1 % maximum ) prepared by gradually adding the powder with constant stirring into make-up or condensate ( temperature not exceeding 35°-C ) quality water. Our technical representative will recommend suitable dosage after analyzing the boiler feed water. IA -108 should be fed continuously through feed pump suction by a suitable metering pump.

For optimum efficiency the following values of hardness and alkalinity are suggested .

Handling:  IA- 108 is  not a hazardous chemical although it may irritate sensitive skin. In such an incidence, wash the effected area with cold water immediately. Rubber Gloves and face shields (i.e. Goggles) mist be worn white handling IA-108.

Effective Defoaming and Antifoaming Agent
(For Distillery - Molasses Fermentation)

Specificity of foaming ingredients, due to variable nature of input solids and operating conditions, due to variable nature of input solids and operating conditions, poses severe problems in molasses  / grain fermentation, thus resulting in high consumption of defoaming and antifoaming agent  at the stake of poor alcohol recovery and inclreased BOD & COD level.

Number of conventional proprietary formulation of defoamer available in the market with no basic technical concept, have apparent defoamer characteristic thus resulting in camouflage / deceiving performance giving rise to reduced recovery, increased microbial growth BOD & COD requirements etc.

Various impurities present in conventional defoamer and being added during dilution of molasses / grains do have catalytic detrimental affect on fermentation efficiency, formation of slimes and corrosive products.

IT is a ripe time to give a thought over modern concept of Eco-friendly defoaming and antifoaming agents so as to meet the global standards.

TRO (A conventional  Product ) being used as defoamer in Distillery.

Turkey red oil ismade by sulphating castor oil, followed by neatralization with sodium hydroxide (temp. <30-35°C ). Variation in operating temperature etc. results in formation of following undesirable side products.

Fatty acid ( Ricinolic ), Soap ( Sodium Ricinoleate ) Glycerol, Triglycerides ( Unreacted Castor Oil ), Mono & Di-glycerides, Lactones, Lactides, Sulfated Fatty Acid, Monoglyceride Sulphate, Diglyceride Sulfate, Sulfated Triglyceride, corresponding sulfonates , Sulphato- Sulphonates, Hydrozy Sulfate and Sulphonates, Hydroxy Fatty Acid and  Hydroxy glycerides.

Above undesirable side products are not Eco -Friendly & results in reduced recovery, increased microbial ghwth, formation of slimes and corrosive products, increased BOD and COD level.

IS -072 being NON IONIC  dispersion, to be diluted with water (1:3) ans sprayer where foam is generated or where the foaming problem is encountered, to eliminate the foam completery.

SCALATOR -1008 to be used as it is or after dilution 1: 5 -10 times with water and mixed with the clarified juice at a point just before its entry into the vaporator. In most casesfeeding has been found to be more effective.


50 % of the total amonut to be added to the clarified sugar juice prior to its entering the first evaporator body and the other 20% to be addded through the feed line entering the 3rd  evaporator body and balance 30%  to be added to the final evaporator body.

Better scale prevention erriciency is obrained by split feeding the entire quanitity of additive to the clarified prior to its entering the first evaporator body.

An enzymatic additive for better yield and time saving.
It is a mixture of various enzymes like cc-amylase, Gluco amylase protease along with spores vegetative cells, (3-glucanase, producted from selected strain of Bacillus species. It is a high performance starch Liqueficatation enzyme. Also it contains nutrient salts.
Product colour variation has no influence over product strength or enzymatic activity.


It works best under the following conditions: Temperature 20oC – 60oC pH 4 to 5.5


It is a mixture of enzymes, spore & nutrients. It rapidly start break down of starch & Carbohydrates. It is completely capable to achieve the complete degradation of starch in to fermentable sugar (Glucose). It is free from transglucosidase activity & therefore produces quantitative better yields of glucose from liquefied starch.
